Paul White's Wine Sense - http://www.winesenz.co.nz Paul White provides an excellent introduction to wine terminology and has an extensive database of tasting notes, all on a nicely presented site. Lots of New Zealand bias here, too.

Lincoln University Viticulture and Oenology Course - http://www.lincon.ac.nz/v&o Lincoln has a comprehensive viticulture and oenology course. This site lists their msot recent research and explains what their courses involve. This is a really attractive site with lots of interest for both wine-lovers and the wine-industry.

The New Zealand Wine Institute - http://www.nzwine.com Peter highly recommends this site - a comprehensive guide to New Zealand vineyards and wines. The New Zealand Wine Institute is committed to publicising our wine both here and overseas.

Wine Online - New Zealand - http://www.wineonline.co.nz Wine on Line is a joint venture between John Borsboom, a self-employed Architect and Stephen Barker, an Engineer who runs a computer software development company: Vertical Systems Ltd. The highlight of the site is a point-and-click map of lots of online vineyards.

The Wine Spectator On-Line - http://www.winespectator.com Possibly the most comprehensive wine-site on the internet, and well worth a browse. See articles before they even get to the magazine!

Winetitles Online - http://www.winetitles.com.au "Winetitles, specialist publishers to the Australian and New Zealand wine industries, publishes the Wine Industry Journal, the Wine Industry Directory and a wide variety of books related to viticulture, winemaking and wine appreciation."

Matua Valley Wines - http://www.matua.co.nz This is an excellent site, and Matua make some great wines. Go there now for tasting notes and a virtual tour (complete with sound) of their vineyard.

The Wine Advisor - http://www.winetech.com Everyone interested in keeping a wine database, check out this site for software, and initial data from the Wine Advisor magazine. This site also has a very big list of interesting links, including ours!

Wine Reviews and Christoph's Quarterly of the Good Life - http://www.bcity.com/winepoet Justin Christoph is wine and cigar reviewer for the Philadelphia Sun. He saw our page and wanted to be on it---so here he is! If you're interested in what America is drinking (and what they have available) check this out.

Wine of the Week Webzine - http://www.wineoftheweek.com Sue Courtney runs a web magazine with a "wine of the week", "personality of the week" and lots more, all with a strong New Zealand bias. Worth a regular visit.
